Levens Kitchen

2019 sees the opening of the fantastic multi-purpose dining and event space, Levens Kitchen. The seasonally inspired menu uses locally sourced, high-quality produce, including products grown on the Estate and in the gardens of Levens Hall.   You do not need to purchase admission tickets for the House and Gardens to visit Levens Kitchen, so why not come and enjoy some of the delicious food on offer, all freshly prepared by our skilled Head Chef?

Eat and Drink

The fully licensed Levens Kitchen, open between 10am and 5pm, serves a wide selection of hot and cold drinks and homemade cakes served throughout the day.  Brunch is available between 10am and 2pm, and lunch between 12noon and 4pm.  Children are always welcome in Levens Kitchen and we provide healthy, half-sized portions and plenty of cutlery for small hands.  High chairs, children's books and activities are readily available to keep the little ones amused whilst you enjoy your food and drink.

The Beers are on us

Brewed to a secret recipe which originated at Levens Hall in the 17th century and revived for the 300th anniversary of the Gardens in 1994, Morocco Ale, the CAMRA Silver Medal-winning strong beer, is available either to accompany your meal in Levens Kitchen, or to buy in the Potting Shed Gift Shop to take home with you.

To mark the opening of Levens Kitchen, can we tempt you with our new golden ale, 'Clipped Bush'?
