Interesting house, stunning gardens
House opened at 12pm on a Sunday. We arrived at 11am and explored the stunning gardens. Never seen anything like it! House was fantastic. Excellent guides and an activity sheet for the kids to do. Well worth a visit and the entry price.

Amazing Gardens, House nice too
The gardens are really stunning, definitely worth a visit. We love visiting country houses / national trust etc. The house is very well kept and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Nice little cafe too. Not a very big house but a nice way to spend a few of hours.

Pass on our thanks
Very unusually after a visit I feel on this occasion that I need to write to you all and thank you for an excellent experience. As part of a 'small garden group' my wife and I cannot commend you all highly enough for the enjoyment you created in our visit round the house, the garden, a talk from the head gardener, the catering/shop, the immaculate state of the loo's and even the pay desk gent made paying a pleasure.

A great visit
Please thank all the staff, including the restaurant staff for their welcome to our group yesterday. On our way home on the coach , everyone was saying just how interesting they found the visit and many expressed the intention to come back again sometime.

A cracking time
Now that we are back in Chester I just wanted to thank you for the arrangements made for our group last wednesday. The cream teas were much appreciated (and delicious!!) so please pass on our thanks to Margaret and her team in the Buttery who looked after us all so helpfully and efficiently.

A follow up from our visit
On behalf of ****** W.I. I would like to thank you for a most enjoyable visit on thursday. We all thoroughly enjoyed your wonderful gardens and house whilst the weather was also kind to us, adding to our pleasure. Please convey our thanks to your dedicated staff, all of whom couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. I am SO pleased that I chose you as our summer outing venue and will pass on all the good things we experienced to others seeking a similar venue. Hopefully it won't be too long before we see you again.

To all the staff
I just wanted to say a big thank you to all the staff at Levens Hall. I bought a group of seniors to visit last week and we had a brilliant time. From our original telephone booking to our encounters with the staff on the day, everyone was helpful and friendly and nothing was too much bother. In a time when so many are quick to complain I wanted to express our thanks to you all.

Did you know?
Yew trees are either male or female. So, some of our topiary produce clouds of pollen in February, while the rest have a smattering of tiny red berries in the autumn.
