Levens Hall Estate are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Finance Manager to work on a part-time basis alongside a small team at the Levens Hall Estate office.

Levens Hall Estate has been in the ownership of the Bagot family for over 400 years and consists of Levens Hall visitor attraction, award winning restaurant, tenanted and in-hand farming operations, residential cottages, forestry and commercial property.

Applicants should be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified and experience as a Management Accountant is essential as you will be responsible for a wide range of activities including:

• Preparation of annual accounts for various entities, including sole traders, limited company and LLP.

· Management accounts and variance analysis, as required.

· Management of sales and purchase ledgers, including staff management of accounts assistant role.

· Bank reconciliations.

· VAT reporting for 8 entities, including partial exemption VAT.

· Liaising with external accountants for statutory reporting.

· Management of relationship with other financial service providers.

· Cashflow management.

· Developing controls and improving processes.

We are seeking an applicant who can deliver excellent financial accounting skills to strict deadlines. This is a part time role of at least 24 hours per week. Salary range £25,000 - £30,000, commensurate with experience. This is actual pay and not pro rata. Days and hours are to be agreed as some flexibility is available.
