Finance Manager

Levens Hall Estate are looking to appoint a hardworking and enthusiastic Finance Manager to work on a part-time basis alongside a small team at the Levens Hall Estate Office to start in April 2021. Applicants must be ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualified and experience as a Management Accountant is essential as you will be responsible for a wide range of activities.

Activities include:

Preparation of monthly management accounts and performance dashboard
Estate meeting monthly reports
Annual budgets
Daily takings reconciliation and recording
Rent demands
Year end
Preparation of sole trading accounts
Sales and purchase ledgers
Bank reconciliation
Payroll oversight
Partial exemption VAT
Liaising with external accountants
Management of relationship with other financial service providers.

We are seeking an applicant who can deliver excellent financial accounting skills to strict deadlines. Knowledge of cloud-based accountancy systems is preferred but not essential. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

This is a part time role of at least 24 hours per week. Days and hours are to be agreed as some flexibility is available.
