Traction Engines History

The steam vehicles at Levens Hall make a great day out in Cumbria and they were collected by Robin and Hal Bagot and the present collection contains a 1925 Foden Steam Wagon, a 1902 Locke Steam Car, a Fowler 1920 Showman’s Road Locomotive known as “Bertha”, and a half-size Traction Engine called “Little Gem”.

Bertha & Little Gem can be seen, in steam, most Sundays & Bank Holidays Mondays, throughout the season.
