Levens Hall is situated on the edge of the English Lake District some 5 miles south of Kendal on the A6 (M6 Junction 36). There are brown 'historic house' signs to Levens Hall directing drivers from the A6, A590 and A591 roads.

BY RAIL
The nearest station is at Oxenholme (The Lake District) some 5 miles away, where there is a taxi service available. There are direct links to Oxenholme from Manchester Airport and from London Euston.

BY BUS
There is a bus service which runs from Grasmere, Ambleside, Windermere and Kendal through to Lancaster (number 555 or 556) which stops outside Levens Hall once per hour. An additional service runs from Kendal to Grange (number 530) approximately every hour during the afternoons.

BY AIR
Manchester Airport is the nearest airport, about one and a half hour's journey via the M6 Motorway.
